COMMUNITY SUPPORT

With the help of many people, a new fence is being erected around Morgan's Mercy Mansion and a playground is being built. Morgan's Mercy Mansion is a rehab center for women that has been in Winnsboro now for several years. Women come and stay for a six month program, and some stay on to work at Heaven's Hidden Treasures. Sherrie Hanson, Administrator of the rehab center, said that they are really excited about the fence and playground. "This will give us more privacy," she said. "And when children come to visit, they will have a nice place to play outdoors."

She also wanted to acknowlege that this could not have happened without the generous support of many people, churches, businesses, and organizations in and around Winnsboro. This is what she wrote:

“WOW”  A great BIG THANK YOU from all of us at Morgan’s Mercy Mansion to all of Winnsboro and surrounding communities.

"What a miracle to see the love of the Lord shown through the goodness of the people and churches and businesses of our community. We can now have a fenced in playground for our families as well as a safe place for cookouts, fellowships, and Bible school for learning and growing in the things of the Lord.

"We so greatly appreciate all the individuals, churches, and businesses who gave so generously of their time, monies, support, and for their hard work. 

"Your obedient and generous hearts inspired the families, the women, and others in the community.  It’s always encouraging to see the body of Christ come together in unity to get a task accomplished.
