CALL FOR ARTISTS

The talented artists of East Texas will soon have a new place to sell their artwork. On November 7th and 8th, Winnsboro will be hosting its first Fine Art Market on the streets of its historic downtown.

A Patron’s Reception on Friday evening will kick off the event and the weekend will be filled with great art, continuous musical entertainment and a variety of good food.

Applications for booth space will be juried to insure that the art for sale at this Market truly represents the fine quality available from area artists. Artists do not need to be from the East Texas region to apply, however, they will be given priority during the jurying process.

This art event is being heavily promoted to draw both quality artists and serious buyers. Event Chair, Mary Smith, owner of The Winnsboro Gallery, www.winnsborogallery.com, acknowledges, “We’re aware that in order to have a successful event for the artists who participate we need to draw serious art buyers. Our marketing campaign is focused on this end and we’re confident that this will become the art event of the fall season for East Texas.”
